Your reply reminds me of a word that I love.

Platypus

A platypus is a trite, meaningless, or prosaic statement, generally directed at quelling social, emotional, or cognitive unease.

Verified by at least one ancient source. That's enough evidence for me.

We had to start somewhere. And just because someone says who the burden of proof is on does not give them the authority to make such a proclamation.

I happen to believe the Biblical account. But the difference between myself and those that believe otherwise is I won't belittle and brownbeat others who disagree. Since none of us were there, all we can do is advance a theory as to where we came from.

I do find the concept of a Creator more plausible than our ancestors spontaneously coming to life and crawling out of a puddle of goo.

Your best shot at a truthful answer is emailing the Creation Museum. I never knew Eve had pet dinosaurs until they opened.

I agree. However, I find the concept of a Flying Spaghetti Monster more plausible than Adam and Eve.

Didn't someone run a computer simulation all the way back to an Adam tracing the Y chromosome?? Seems like I saw something about that a couple years back.
