So I'm curious as to the set amount of church appearances to receive salvation?

Let's not do this today... The religious posters catch hell on this board almost every single day... Give them a break on Easter Sunday... You're upsetting sorantable.

The only way to heaven is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Maybe God only takes attendance on Easter and they have the system figured out. It's not like you know.

Might want to ask what people get out of NOT going to church every other Sunday.

I'd say: better mental health.

Having said that, I'll be slogging to the nuthouse this morning.

As a every week churchgoer I am enjoying the heck out of a lazy Sunday morning. If this is how the other half lives, I am going to have to check out atheism.... At a minimum agnosticism.

I've always wondered what people get out of going to church. Stand up sit down say a couple prayers sing a couple songs and the doors of heaven open wide I guess.

technicality would be zero.

but if you read Paul's writings it emphasizes the local church and to establish them throughout the land.

I figured it was a valid question with the declaration that going on Easter once a year doesn't cut it.

Eh, the OP was addressing those who only go on Easter. I'd say the door was opened and no one was giving the religious posters hell.

We were supposed to go with my in-laws today, but came back home last night instead. It's more so about spending time with family for us, but I really don't like the preacher of their church.

Not if you catch all the services. Church hopping helps as well.

As people of God, we shouldn't judge those that are going to Hell.

My husband's out tilling the garden dressed like a complete redneck, and I'm doing laundry and straightening up the house for my parents to come over this evening. Fun times.
