While I believe the statistics alone reveal how likely it is that life existents elsewhere in the universe, I find it unlikely that there is a form of sentient intelligence advanced enough to get all to way to us that then chooses to play hide and seek. A civilization that advanced would only be seen if it wanted to be seen.
I think if we arent prudent, Islam could rule the world one day.
Generally speaking, I try and follow Occam's razor in the absence of conclusive evidence. Most conspiracy theories just try too hard.

The problem is the only thing that makes less sense than Ruby killing him for no reason is killing him as a part of a larger plot.
