No, but we don't go to war against an entire region because they're evil. The Saudi's are evil, but they're our best friends. The Israeli's have built a wall around the Palestinian territories to keep them in a virtual ghetto, but they're our allies. The folks in Belarus are living in essentially a Soviet-style autocracy, but there are no cries for military intervention.
It is not America's job to rid the world of evil, but our government uses the good vs. evil narrative to seduce our citizens into supporting wars that do nothing for our own interest but rather swell the numbers of potential terrorists.
