Going to an Ortho Surgeon this afternoon to get my Wisdom Teeth consultation. Somewhat nervous about the cost of said procedure.

Do you not have health insurance or have a high deductible? Mine was pretty well covered aside from 20% of the procedure under my medical.

I do have medical insurance. I've heard its around $300 per tooth pre insurance, correct?

I believe it depends on whether they're impacted and how much work they have to do to remove them. That sounds about right though.
ETA: Are you having trouble with them? I had to have my top ones removed because they were coming in and coming in crooked. But I haven't had my bottom ones removed because I've had no issue with them (the surgeon wanted to do all 4 but my dentist said there was absolutely no reason to).

I'm having no pain with them. I fear the ortho surgeon is going to want to take them out just to get in my wallet.
My dentist did refer me to the ortho, though. I only have one that's currently coming in, but all four are there.

I only had 3 wisdom teeth. But I'm waiting on the sod truck to show up. Dumbass homeowner thought we could sod his entire back yard with 3 pallets. I had to order 10 more when we got here.
