Singer/songwriter/guitarist. I have 7 guitars; favorite electric: Gretsch Corvette; favorite acoustic: Taylor 356 12-string.

I'm looking for a bass player for a band I'm in in Orlando. Hey ... ya never know.

I've been playing trombone (Bach 42BO) for 11 years now.

Trombone paid my way through college. Played a King 4BF bought new in the late 70's (and still do on occasion.)
Also have an Olds Recording model 'peashooter' from the late 60's, with the octagonal inner slide.

Mostly play guitar these days, Fender American Strat, Sienna Sunburst with S1 switching through pedalboard into Tech21 Trademark 60. Have a Taylor 210ce and Mini GS for my acoustic fix.

I'm not only a terrible musician, but I record myself being terrible, and in the rubble of my terrible recordings, I rise up and get a little better.

Have at it...

Played trumpet for a few years, then HS sports took over. Picked up the guitar in the Navy.

It is what it is.

I've played since I was about 12. First on drums, then guitar, though I really never played on guitar much till the last few years. I've been a front man/singer in bands since I was a teen, though I have played bass in some bands, and now play some guitar. Maybe too old to still be doing it, but I do it anyway.

I also write songs. This is a honky tonk song about a departed friend of mine who loved drinking. Didn't much matter what sort of alkeyhall. He was fairly non biased.

Thank you. My friend died a year or so after crashing his truck into a tree and suffering debilitating injuries. One thing affected another thing, and he never came home after that accident. He said he wasn't drinking or drugging when he crashed, but I suppose he was, because he was rarely ever totally straight. I miss the fellow, but we did have a lot of fun for a good long time.

Played French horn in high school, but didn't keep up with it past senior year.

Started playing guitar/bass around that time and been playing for the past 10-12 years off and on. Haven't gotten much better since then, but I don't suck too bad.

At the moment all I have is a Fender Strat and a Takamine. The Tak is signed by two of my favorite musicians, though. (Ben Nichols of Lucero, and Mike Herrera of MxPx/Tumbledown.) I love both of them.

Since everyone is sharing...

I wrote and recorded that for my wife before I left for Kuwait. We had a long time apart there where I was home and then gone again. The military will do that, though.

Wish I could play a brass instrument or even the ole mouth harp. Would love to be able to compose my own melodies and harmonies on trumpet but I'm just not much for them. Bass and drums seem to be my forte. Rhythm section.....we are the glue!
