I haven't seen one of these on the OT so I figured I'd see who else out there plays and wants to talk shop.

Myself, I play bass and drums and noodle on guitar and piano some. I've got several basses, my favorite being my Warwick Corvette. I use a Crybaby bass wah and Tech 21 Sansamp preamp pedal and run that into my Ampeg Portaflex. Don't play out much anymore so I don't have a need for a big rig at the house.

As for my drumkit, it's a Tama Swingstar outfitted with various Sabian cymbals. Any drummers out there have any clue where I could find replacement spurs for my bass drum? I've looked all over the interwebs to no avail.

Anyway, I'm sure there are more of y'all out there. Here's an offseason topic actually worthwhile.

I started out on drums too back in 97. Took my sister's classical guitar that was gathering dust and started teaching myself on that and eventually made my way to bass and fell in love.

7 years of classical piano lessons, 10 of voice. I don't do a lot these days, but I still play and sing on occasion.

I'm a big music fan, never miss a chance to catch live music.

Les Paul,Fender Loyalty Parlor,Old Harmony parlor and a Guild. I also have a cheap Fender bass and I play the harmonica when my lungs allow me to. Hope to buy a new Martin in the near future.

Good guitar player, damn good harmonica player, and decent on the dobro. Been playing guitar and harmonica since around 5th grade. Also, my falsetto is on damn point.

I always wanted to play Tuba in a metal band

I did play drums as a youth, but was only good at annoying the grown ups evidently.

Drums, vuitar, bass. He'll just put an instrument in my hand and I can make some decent noise.

Percussion and drums for me.

I play Cajon in a couple bands in Colorado with it. I only like playing the stringed Cajons. It has a better sound for acoustic music.

I have a Latin percussion triple bongo drum. Having the extra 5.5" opens up the tonal range tremendously.

I play a tupan/davull drum. It's a Balkans brass band drum that is double sided. I used that to play in parades and with Mardi Gras Indian tribes. If you ever saw a white guy playing with the Wild Tchoupitoulas, that would be me.

My drum kit is an antique Ludwig blue acrylic Vistalites. It was the old John Bonham kit.
