I went 5 days at summer camp once, but we were doing a lot of swimming. Always had a rinse afterwards.

No water heaters at summer camp.

3 or 4 days. Either because of camping or surgery. I really hate going more than a day without taking a shower.

22 days, South America in the mid 80s. Did hit the streams once or twice to rinse the cheese off but basically, no shower, no soap, 22 days.

Stink kept the bugs off. Fawking vampire bats though - I hate those things. Never could get a good 4 hr sleep knowing they were out there and we moved mostly at night.

Things sure are different today.

Went many times over a week, even two weeks, back then but that particular time we had to E & E out on our own and could not get extracted so we were out there longer than originally intended.

Nothing sounds more free than greasy arse hair, AND greasy arse facial hair.

I don't want to look like JFF.

6 days but that was only because I went canoeing and camping for a week in the Canadian wilderness. Showers were not available..I did have soap and washed off in the lakes, which are fairly clean water up there due to no pollution.

Better part of a month in 1998.

When I was in the service we had to do a 30 day FTX at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Ft. Polk (basically in the woods the whole time) to prepare for possible deployment to Bosnia. Our neighbors ended up going instead though.

I did end up at a MASH tent at one point though and took what I guess could technically be called a shower. It was January in Louisiana, outside, and they had these big drums of water supported up in the air that you could stand underneath and pull a string and release water and bathe for pretty much as long as you wanted, as long as you didn't mind hypothermia. My "shower" lasted about 2 minutes.
