I remember dad telling me a plane had crashed in Paulding County and to go back to bed.

Oh yea, that'll work.

For real. I heard my mom talking about a plane crash and a bunch of "Oh no! and Oh my God!" and walked in the kitchen because I could tell by her voice something horrible occurred. I asked dad and he said "a plane crashed in PC. Nothing for you to worry about. Go on back to bed and don't get up again." I shared a bedroom with my 6 year old brother and we just sat and listened to her talking on the phone to different people for over an hour. That is when I found out it was a "big" plane with many people on board. Dad drove over there but he said by the time he got to the area it was all blocked off and nobody was allowed in to the area.

Really is something talking to the kids at the time. I met the guy, that was a kid, and lived in the house, where plane stopped.
He told me how my Mom smacked him(he was freaking out), and tell him to calm down.

She really is. I always laughed, that he and I had the same name. I told her she was just practicing.
