You missed my point.

Remote Controlled understands where I'm coming from.

I think, philosophically, it's incorrect for singling out black neighborhoods specifically. If it were an app that shared your skin color I could understand, but this may just go a little too far.

Though the one black dude I ran into down here happened to steal my fricking chair from the table my ma' and I sitting at without even asking.

Actually this:

looks like it could be across the street from the Memphis Zoo in a half-a-million home.

On the contrary, I make her very comfortable

Or at least I think I do...

Or you could just not be a pussy? I can't think of anything that screams "lame weak-kneed candyass white person" more than a fricking smartphone app for avoiding scary neighborhoods.

Like when an entire family from out of town gets attacked for "being in the wrong part of town"?

Try being a little more vague with this tale, plz.

I hear there's a neat free app called "people who are from the area" for avoiding the wrong part of town, but if people feel safer with their trusty iPhones then more power to em I guess. Smartphones seem like they're turning into the adult equivalent of a childhood teddybear in some respects, but I guess there's nothing wrong with it if it conveys useful info to people. Still seems kind of shitty on principle, though.

Happens frequently. The media has no use for white hate crime news.

Ahh, more vagueness.

I don't doubt it happens, though. A friend of mine was robbed at knife point a few years ago, and it wasn't even in a place that would show up on this silly little app, I don't think.

Listen, thats not a bad thing that app.

I travel a lot. I am often in industrial parts of cities visiting warehouses and other similar locations.

In LA one wrong turn and you are in Compton. NOT good for a white boy in a suit driving a rented malibu.

There are parts of every city where there is crime. knowing where to avoid if you dont know your way around is good safety for EVERYONE, not just whites.

Couldn't you do the same thing by simply having the app show you where all the Church's Fried Chicken restaurants are located near you?

Don't get me wrong, they have great chicken, but I've never seen one in a middle class to upper class location for some reason.
