The leftie bible, "Rules for Radicals," have you ever read the dedication?

You know the book, the one Obama worships ... specifically, Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals."

Of course, of the many rules including destroying families, overwhelming the social welfare system with entitlement programs, taking over the education system, hollywood, the MSM, etc., ... there is one thing I've always found odd that no one ever seems to mention.

Had anyone else ever read the book?

Obama has many times - he even mentioned his love of the book and how it was his bible in his own book.

Hillary Clinton says it is her outline for politics.

But has anyone here ever read the book?

It's free, online, many places. All kinds of formats.

But the printed book, the first few editions when they came out ... do you know how the preface read? The opening page, the dedication?

Here you go.

quote:

“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history... the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”

So given where the country is headed, where we already are for that matter ... Lucifer wins, amirite?

Edited: subject line to ask question

The entire book is an instructional manual on dirty tactics for undermining opposition. That's it.

"Opposition" to whom, or what?

What's "dirty" about it genro, in terms of "tactics?"

Doesn't specifiy

Let's just look at the basic rules.

quote:

RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. (Pretty crude, rude and mean, huh? They want to create anger and fear.)
Use demagoguery and name-calling, instead of debate

quote:

RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist. (Perception is reality. Large organizations always prepare a worst-case scenario, something that may be furthest from the activists’ minds. The upshot is that the organization will expend enormous time and energy, creating in its own collective mind the direst of conclusions. The possibilities can easily poison the mind and result in demoralization.)
Lie, speculate wildly, fear-monger
quote:

Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
Ummm... false flags?
quote:

* RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)

It is the democrats play book. Republicans use it to. There are no conservatives/honest people in politics anymore.

Thank you.

That's what I was hoping you would do genro.

So would it be safe to say that the rules of Lucifer, the rules of lefties, (the Marxist communist progressive socialist types so prevalent in the U.S. these days and sometimes visible on this board by a couple of members), the rules of the Nazis and the rules of radical Islam are all pretty much the same?

ETA: Subjectively and objectively speaking of course. Depends upon one's perception of things as always.

Name one - name one Republican, (and I am not a fan of either party, I'm a Constitutional Conservative), name one Republican that has opening touted Rules for Radicals as their playbook.

Obama, not only has he praised the book within the pages of his own book, he often quotes from the book while speaking as POTUS!

In Hillary's Clinton's 1969 PoliSci thesis, ("There is Only the Fight"), is a direct take-off of ideas she gleaned from Alinsky during their late sixties meetings and exchange of letters. LINK (There have even been whispers and rumors that Alinsky and Hillary were having a teacher-student affair). She worshiped the man.

So again, this all goes back to where we are now.

The preface to the book. Has Lucifer won?

There may be like 1% but that's about it.
The other 99% are only loyal to big corporations or who can contribute the most to their campaigns.

Big money doesn't care who is Democrat or Republican. They are only interested in who can push their agenda.
I just wish people would wake up and unify against big money instead of drawing party lines and fighting for scraps.

Big money just loves people taking sides with these political debates and issues because it takes the focus off of them.

You're correct that the left enjoys using this book, but if you believe in the Lucifer of the Bible you should also know that God is sovereign and however mad politicians may make you, He is in control and no political movement can change that.

That is what the book that identifies Lucifer says at least.

Look at Obama and the left's policies and ideology... It only makes sense if it's established that they're serving Satan.

While I agree with you, the saddest part of all of this, is we have control as citizens, but very few people think independently anymore, and look at facts or use common sense.

An honest person who truly has the best interests of their constituency at heart can't get elected in America today.

.... that's because big money PACs, the MSM, even Hollywood to some extent, controls elections.

But this was all part of Alinsky's plan .... for liars and their lies to become socially acceptable just as lying is a means to an end for radical Islam and Lucifer is the prince of lies.

Honesty is now a dirty word.

Lemme ask ... who is a bigger liar than Clinton?

So Lucifer wins .... amirite?

Liberals have always been their foot soldiers everywhere, yes. You just have to understand that Republicans aren't the good guys - they aren't going to save us. We're way beyond that.

Yep, that ship has sailed. We are effectively a one party state right now. Very little difference between dems and republicans.

The proof that this thread is the gospel is that the everyday socialist lefties on the board have run from this subject.

It's like the cross to a demon's forehead ... this one is scorching them.

Meh. Hillary will win, so it's moot.

If the Right wing wasn't so homophobic and actually believed in the separation of Church and State, they might be able to stop her. The Scroosters of the world are out of touch.
