1. Jazz sucked.

2. While Ken Burns is great, American Experience on PBS is just as good. Highly recommend.

3. If you want a really good Vietnam documentary I recommend "Last Days in Vietnam" about the end of the war. It was done by Rory Kennedy (RFK daughter). Was nominated for an Oscar I believe. Its on Netflix

Second the recommendation, it is a damn fine documentary. It's depressing as hell however.

And unless I missed it, nobody mentioned "Prohibition" by Burns....good one too.

Didn't realize Ken Burns' stuff was on Netflix. Starting The Civil War right now.

Vietnam in HD was a History Channel production. Excellent show; very well done and balanced.
interviews with the vets and actors reading voice overs.
Also WWII In Color is another great one.
