Bars must close today and restaurants limited to 50% occupancy.

Florida just announced the suspension of on premise consumption of alcohol.

How do you play football in Florida and Texas if you can't even go to a bar?

Remember when they claimed "We just want to flatten the curve".

Why are bars being unfairly targeted?

Yeah, you're right. Let's keep denying we have a problem and maybe it will just go away.

Wait, I thought Republican governors were "literally killing people" but not shutting down?

Ok, name the healthcare facilities that are being overwhelmed right now. Or hell, name one that is even remotely close to it.

Show me the problem you claim exists.

Because bars are the nexus of stupid nonsocially distant behavior and are not essential?

Look at the Houston Med Center.

LINK

But also look at what kind of people are going now.

This is Florida specific but it should align with Texas too.

So, yes, we’re reaching capacities at some hospitals, but also it’s a younger less likely to die group being infected. It’s not good, but it’s not that bad either.

Well if you are wearing a mask, then you don't need to social distance.

Or at least, that's what the hell it seems like since I constantly have people in line behind me wearing masks right up against me.

Yup but those riots would never be the cause of a spike. Or so I'm told

I live in West Tennessee and the West Tennessee Healthcare system which runs and operates several hospitals reported mid week that they have more admitted to their hospitals with Covid-19 right now than at anytime since the virus started...Right now they aren't over run but are concerned with the increase of in hospital cases.

Well your Florida link doesn't really show anything. Other than the bulk of new cases are young people who aren't in need of care.

The other link shows a place that is at 90% capacity...but it's not because of the Covid, which makes up only 26% of their patients. Even among those 26%, it only says they are in the hospital with Covid, not that they are in the hospital because of Covid.

Furthermore, normal capacity for that place is 70-80%.
