I have.

One pointed a gun in the face of my friend as he reached for his wallet. He was the driver.

I am sorry that happened to you and your friend. It should be noted that reaching for your wallet falls under the "sudden movements" category. The officer didn't know what your friend was reaching for. He could have had a gun or knife.

I have an African American co worker who will call me and put me on speaker when the cops pull him over. Which happens on the regular.

Such overheard gems include, "It looks like your right rear taillight might not work."

(After searching him), "You have $200 on you. Where'd you get $200?"

Well I was probably pro-police until that point. That gun was around 3 pounds of pressure of spraying my friends brains in my lap.
Car looked rough but we were harmless. The cop seemed like he really wanted to start something. He talked tough and wanted to scare us.

Asked for my friends ID and then almost immediately stuck the gun in his face. This kind of stuff happens all over the country.

You are consistently impressed with your slightly-above-average mental acuity. It's baffling. I'll assume it's because you're a momma's boy.

You seemed to be dazzled with your word of the day calendar at your dead end job.

Lol. If this is dead-end, I'll take it.

And my vocabulary comes from erudition. Try it.

I think some of this type of behavior during a traffic stop might stop if they went back to having partners.

I feel like putting one cop alone in a car can lead to him being more jumpy during traffic stops. This of course leads to the person being stopped being jumpy as well and you either get a shooting or someone left feeling like they were harassed for no reason by the cops.

If a cop has a partner with him then a stop would probably go a bit smoother.

of course 2 cops in a car together could lead to two times the dogs killed

Apparently you will, whether or not it is appropriate.

and sadly officers are shot during routine traffic stops all over the country. There's a video I could post (but I'd probably get banned) that shows a man shooting a police officer. In fact, you can listen to him take his final breath.

Now tell me that wouldn't be running through your mind when someone reaches for something concealed in their coat/pocket/pants/whatever

Not to mention, unlike the general public, we've seen most all of those videos.
