He uses some other metric to determine his decision if he's good at his job.

Here is an article from the AJC that has all sorts of awesome names.
Unusual Names in Georgia
The multiple hyphenated names at the bottom are by far the best.
Just to give a few:
A-DEJA-CHANEL
AMBER-NATIVIDAD-DULCE
ANNA-KA-LAE-LA
AUTUMN-BRITT-N'AE

Not saying you're wrong but let's say a hiring manager has 2 resumes in front of him and is only to bring one in for an interview. The qualifications are the same, good school, gpa, experience, etc... Which one is he more inclined to bring in for an interview?

Not necessarily that simple.

Let's assume that he's not. Which one is he more inclined to bring in to an interview? There's a social stigma, while not fair, attached to the predominately black names. Fact is, when parents name their children these names it sets them back through no fault of their own.

Of course not, but if it was in a vacuum and there were no other factors it would more than likely happen that way.

I'm just saying that black people aren't the only ones who come up with unorthodox names. Google weird white names if you don't believe me.
And I hear ya, Peter. Those decisions are never made in a vacuum irl, though. That's all I was trying to say.
And for the record, no, I don't have an ethnic name. I'm as generic as they come (Eddie ). A couple of my siblings have African names (Damani, Janaya), some have biblical names (Josias, Miriam), one has a Greek name (Nikolos), and so on.

The black guy would definitely get the interview in this situation.

Well, I guess being in Atlanta has made me biased but I see a lot more of black using the good ole boy system instead of whites. Hell, we had a county CEO come in and the first thing he did was fire the 21 whites who were in the FD because he wanted blacks in those spots.
