You don't get it and it's obvious. And your anger almost makes believe you've had a bad experience with a biker that has made you view everyone in the same light.

His anger likely stems from Bikes, Blues and BBQ, which is a shite show of a motorcycle rally that our town has the displeasure of hosting every year. It's purely motorcycle enthusiasts, but the rally absolutely sucks and drives out the locals. Tons of downtown businesses just close during the rally because the bikers would rather buy from crappy cycle carnies peddling leather g-strings for fat women than the actual businesses in the town.

I can understand that. I've never done rallies, not my thing. Only a small percentage of motorcycle riders are "rally" types, and I agree that the class of folk can be way less than desirable. Wouldn't want a large rally in my small town.

I should also say that I have very little issue with people who like to ride motorcycles. A few of my friends have Harleys and love to ride. They just say it's really relaxing and helps them clear their minds. But, like you, they aren't really motorcycle culture people who go to rallys and act "trashy." They're just regular old people whose hobby is riding motorcycles.

Apparently it wasn't just trash on trash crime. Some of the bikers were shot by cops. It seems that it started over some bad blood between the Bandidos and Cossacks. At least one other MC, the Scimitars, came down from DFW to back up the Cossacks. The news said that 2 others MCs were there too, but it didn't say who or who they were affiliated with. I saw a pic with a Cossack running a Texas bottom rocker, so maybe the Cossacks think they're big enough to challenge the Bandidos for the throne.

There's more than that going on, but yeah that's what brought it to a head is what I hear.

Yep, it's organized crime. A piece of turf represented by a city of 100,000 could represents millions of dollars in annual drug, prostitution and other revenue generating "business" activities.

They aren't killing each other over club pride

Nah Sarge it's more than a turf war, it's tied to the C.O.Cs turning into a power grab by the dominant club instead of being, for lack of a better comparison, the U.N. of clubs.

I had a few get all butthurt at me when they were like 5 deep going 10 below the speed limit on an FM outside Houston and I passed them. Such outlaws that they drive 55 in a 65.

There are a lot of really trashy bikers and I will never understand the mentality of 55 year old white men wanting to be "gang members". With inner city youth I at least get the motives and see how it's easy to get sucked into it

Where are the #whitelivesmatter people? Oh yeah, we can take off our racial glasses long enough to recognize that trash gonna trash and that they likely needed a good shootin'.
