And the only patch I have is for a riding club. I just know a little more because you have to in order to be safe. In certain areas you just pull over and put the vest in the saddle bag.

Even hobbyists are mostly trash. I can't stand motorcycles.

That's just not true. sorry you don't like motorcycle enthusiasts but there are a lot of great folks that love 2 wheels.

Trash gets along with trash.

Bikers are the equivalent of a redneck putting an airhorn on his truck and riding around public areas blasting it. You ride an contraption that is deliberately creating a high level of noise. Many a peaceful outing in natural areas in Colorado and in the Ozarks are ruined by disrespectful trash on bikes.

I have a hard time driving a full size SUV and dodging the hordes of idiot drivers texting/eating/talking/surfing the net/drinking/checking Facebook status/Instagramming/putting on make-up, selfie-ing, etc., and driving. I can't imagine the allure of driving a 2-wheeled death trap amongst them.

But to each his own.

There's this subset of Americans, mostly who were teens in the 70s, who all saw Easy Rider, did the drugs the hippies did, but didn't grasp any of the ideals of the hippies.

They're pretty much the worst age subset of American, in my experience.

You don't get it and it's obvious. And your anger almost makes believe you've had a bad experience with a biker that has made you view everyone in the same light.

Many riders are successful business people such as myself. Not all are day laborers. But it seems you have something against working class Americans as well.

You just can't explain to someone how it feels to ride through forests or mountains or deserts on a bike. You smell the plants you see and experience 1000% more of your surroundings than what you experience in a car.

I saw the results of a motorcycle vs. semi accident once. Up close and personal. I've never since even thought about getting on a motorcycle.

Why not a Jeep?

Like I said, I just sold mine. Jeep may be something I play with down the road. I'm going to pick up an RV in a few years and drag it all over creation

Well, it came through TLETS that the Bandidos and Cossacks have issued the order to their membership to "kill anyone in uniform." shite's about to get real.

I overheard a couple of Navasota cops this morning at breakfast talking about rousting anyone flying colors and stopping all bikes in general today. It raining like hell so the only riders you gonna see today are real bikers. It's not gonna be fun to ride around here for awhile

Well, the good news is that there will probably be some cool bikes for sale at the police auction in the next couple of months.

Someone took a cell phone pic of the warning that came statewide over TLETS. It said "uniform". That could go either way, I suppose. "Uniform" could mean "colors", or maybe some of the dead bikers were actually killed by the cops in Waco and they're targeting cops now. To be honest, all the scooter trash could meet up in Big Bend and kill each other and I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep over it. Start targeting cops and it'll get ugly with a quickness.

Yep back in the day I was educated to leave families out of it and you don't kill cops.
