One of my favorite places. To me there's no better night out than a Grizz game, after game drinks at The Westin, dancing at Raiford's, followed up with a late night rack of ribs from Blues City.

Meh, we don't stay there long, just long enough for the crowds to clear out of the Forum. The drinks are strong, and the service is quick. But I'll be the first to admit it's not the killer party scene.

Do you have kids? If not, stay away from collierville or germantown. Downtown condos are great and are on top of all that is great in Memphis.

Definitely midtown or downtown. Working out east, your commute won't be bad because you will be going against the grain.
I lived downtown with my wife before kids. I worked in collierville and could make it to work in 25 minutes because i was going the opposite way of all the white flight homeowners.

That description couldn't be further from the truth. But in all seriousness, if we didn't have kids, I wouldn't move there. Having kids though, makes those areas the most attractive options in Shelby County.
