By your"logic," no action regarding race issues is justifiable because it doesn't do the impossible: eradicate racism in one fell swoop. On short, you're searching for a panacea. An illogical proposition at best.

The removal I'm fine with. I get that. The rest of it is downright stupid. Removing Civil War monuments and everything else is retarded. Everyone is tripping over their dicks to be the first one to remove something relating to the Civil War. The funny thing is it wasn't even the fricking flag of the confederacy!
A frickton more damage has happened while the US flag flew high in the sky, but nobody seems to care about that. If that retard in SC would have had US flags in those pics, this wouldn't even be an issue.

Eh, I don't really GAF that it was this racist tragedy that caused enough pressure to take the flag down. The circumstances that led to it being up in the first place we're shady as hell.
Now, I'm not cool with defacing memorials or exhumed bodies, but as stupid as some think it is to remove civil war relics, others deems it just as stupid that they're celebrated so vigorously to begin with.
CW stuff has a historical place. That's not an issue with me. The glorification of the South's role in it is pretty disingenuous, however.
No, I'm not saying the North was perfect (they were not, and had their own racism issues), but the fact that the South fought to preserve the right to chattel slavery (yes, that was the "state's right" that was most at jeopardy in their perception, by their own leaders' admission) under the flag in question is a slap in the face to black people who call the South home.
The fact that the flag made a comeback as a pushback during the Civil rights era is just icing on the cake.

Good point. Maybe we should add a Nazi and an Isis flag to the state grounds, instead of removing flags

I'm talking about the faux outrage over a piece of fabric. The Tennessee Army Battle Flag should have never been raised over a state building. We all get that.
