If you think we ever drive 55 mph then you know nothing about Texas.

let's add on us texas shite lords being racists (stolen from OTL.)

quote:

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Employees at several Austin businesses have found stickers saying "exclusively for white people" placed on their windows, sparking an investigation into their origin and condemnation from the mayor.

Mayor Steve Adler said the stickers discovered Wednesday morning were "an appalling and offensive display of ignorance in our city."

The stickers also say "Maximum of 5 colored customers / colored BOH staff accepted," apparently referring to the "back of house" operations at a restaurant. They featured a city of Austin logo and claimed to be "sponsored by the City of Austin Contemporary Partition and Restoration Program," though no such program exists. The city has said the use of its logo was unauthorized.

Obviously done by white people and not SJWs.

Don't equate Austin with CenTex. I live in Temple and there's very little racial tension in my opinion here. Might be some in Killeen, but i avoid that place. I live in the historic neighborhood, so i have millionaires a block from me, an Puerto Rican neighbor (who's cool as heck) that sells pot next door, to me and a black family who BBQs in the front yard all the time right around me. It's a very integrated area and I love it. CenTex is awesome (relatively speaking... it's boring as frick, but i like boring.) Austin is not CenTex.

Austin cracks me up because it's the liberal bastion in TX and it's the most segregated, gentrified city in our state. They actively work to push blacks and hispanics out to Pfluggerville, Manor, and Del Valle openly.

That stickers thing is funny. I'm sorry. It just is.

That someone went to that much trouble to print them up and distribute them. That they look so legit. Using "BOH" in an age when almost no one knows what that means. It's almost Banksy-esque.

Too damned funny.

Mississippi had a higher percentage of Blacks, therefore having more black cops, city officials, politicians, you name it.. We are more versed on black / white relations than anyone.

Irrelevant. If the people in heavily segregated Boston and New York tell you that you're racist, well, then, you're racist.

Yes. We don't have ANY facts so why is this being labeled as some race issue? Murder is murder. The murdered should punished by effective means. But until we have facts, this is just speculation.

I think Louisiana is the same way. Shite will always happen, but I think race relation in the deep south are better than people give credit for.
