I like hockey too, but non track and field team sports in the olympics are kind of weird to me.

Are you asserting that the Colonial Army was known for rape and beheadings or are you citing some meaningless trope like it's meaningful?
And history is actually written by historians. Which may or may not have any connection to the "victor's" culture, politics, economic theory, zeitgeist, etc.
