Also... it was during my time on that job that bottled water was being introduced at any appreciable level. If anyone then would have told me how big that market would become.... I would have thought them to be one of the dumbest shits on the planet.

I think it's believeable that there's a huge disparity in Dew Drinkers by race.

By region

TN is a Dew state
KY is Ale 8 state
OH is Vernors
?? is Mellow Yellow but it must be an east or west coast preference

He is a Jeff Gordon NASCAR fan, after that, this news is no longer surprising.

Of course AARP is now supporting him so maybe it is in the fine print of my membership that I must now watch NASCAR

Jobs have gotten progressively better, thank goodness. Worked at Starbuck's and CiCi's Pizza in college, then went on active duty in the USAF, and now I'm training to be a project manager for a waterworks company in San Antonio (which is why I'm not on the boards as much ).

Gotta find ways to keep moving forward, as you well know!

I have a wild history of work.

Volunteer at the American Red Cross (my first job, although no money)
Food Lion
Church's Chicken
Furniture Store
Kroger
McDonald's (like three times)
Pizza Hut (three times)
Navy
Army Contractor
Firearms Dealer
Security Guard
English Teacher???

Done a little bit of everythang.

Project Manager or a waterworks company? That sounds pretty legit.

LOT to learn, but yeah it's a great job in a steady industry in a city my wife and I love, so it's a good fit.

If all goes according to plan, it'll be my last career switch. Gonna bust my arse to make that a reality.

Your work experience is pretty eclectic, my man!

Some Black Folk drink the hell out of some coffee, and many of them are experts.

I don't see a lot of younger black people but older yea...young white kids crowd Starbucks like they live there. I think any business level group would largely drink coffee no matter color. it's generally free at work and common as an energy boost without as many negatives as say Red Bull or Soda.
