If I read encyclopedia's as often as I do this board, I'd be a genius by now.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a pretty fast reader. I just haven't had much time for it with work and life in general. That said, I'm in the middle of a ASOIAF re-read with HJJ (his first go around). We're halfway through ASoS.

UM, I actually would be down to do some group reading even if it was just a handful of us.

It's another reason I really wish there was a book/literature board. But if we can get a few folks then I'm down.

Yeah I used to work in public accounting and reading was how I coped with the long hours of tax season. I read about a book a week from January through 4/15, and the habit kind of stuck.

I'll never forget the strange looks I got when I was reading God Is Not Great by Christophdr Hitchens. It's a great book and I've recommended it to a few hardcore Christians who also enjoyed it.

I'm pretty fast. Not like a speed reader but I can usually knock out a 5-700 page novel in two days. The summer is usually too busy for me to try taking on that many books.

I'd absolutely join a reading club.

If it was TD posters yes. I think SECOTB is pretty kind to each other despite our differences.

Tiger on tiger violence is hysterical though.

I don't read a lot now, because I don't have time for it because of school related shite. I do however try to listen to a good audiobook every day when I take my dog for a walk.

I love a good religion debate. Christians can be pretty damn sensitive about it, and it's fun to goad the most sensitive one.
