Scientist says he found definitive proof that God exists

"God" shouldn't be capitalized in this sense.
It seems he found what he has concluded is proof of "intelligent design" which I think a lot of people who are not religious believe in based on our own observations - i am one of them.

Pretty interesting, but I wouldnt call a theory definitive proof.
Ive never understood how people can assume that there isnt some sort of grand architect of the universe when you consider something cant be made from nothing.

It's better to believe in God without proof than to find proof and then believe. If God wanted you to know he exists, he would make sure you know. He doesn't want you to know; He wants you to believe. I know that's illogical to us, but it is not to Him.

well god made me who i am in that scenario and he made me question such things without proof. So he can suck it if he doesn't like the way he made me.
I also am pretty sure he understands my sentiments and just gave me a spiritual fist bump.

Some, like Kaku, use god (little g) shamelessly to get better ratings. Morgan Freeman does, too.
They're using god (little g) to get your attention, not God (big G).

Airfernando - this is the evidence of a designer, not of the relationship having God of southern baptist vacation bible schools.
Gnash - good point. I mean the Christian God gave people proof, like Thomas. So like I've been saying, "come on Christian God, if you want a relationship with me give me some proof. I don't want to burn in hell, but I can't really believe in you otherwise. Assuming I need to in order to not go to hell."

From the quote you posted, that doesn't necessarily imply a God. Elon Musk and many theoretical physicists have proposed we are in a simulation. From there the conversation becomes 'Is the designer of the simulation a God?" which is an entirely different debate.

It's my opinion the designer isn't "a god", at least not a relationship having God. If you didn't know my stance on the matter.

I've watched a couple TED talks about simulations. I don't think we're in one but it's fun to think about. I'll watch that one when I get home. I'll hit you up after.

I think he could be a relationship having god, i will say that I believe it is even though i'm not religious.
Then again he could be an a-hole or some dude that isn't even watching anymore.
