Riding around with people who turn the AC completely off

As someone who always enjoys some air on me, whether the car or a window down, I absolutely hate being in the car with someone who will occasionally turn the air completely off with the windows rolled up. Anyone ever get annoyed by this?

People who go to extremes. Usually bipolar people. It's hot outside so they blast the ac until they're cold, then shut it all the way off until they're hot again, then blast the ac again and repeat.

It doesn't happen often but when it does I just want to slap them and be like wtf is your deal how are you just gonna sit there with zero air circulating.

Doesn't even have to be hot or cold outside. If it's below 68 then have the air on warm or neutral and level 2. Windows down a little if between 68-76 outside. Air slightly cool to cold if warmer. Never off. Ever. No matter whats

Why do people refuse to use the AUTO with a set temperature, if they have that function?

its mostly women that do this and it isn't exclusive to just cars either. never met one that has the slightest idea how a thermostat works.

That's one of the best features of modern cars. It drives me nuts when people are constantly adjusting temps when all they have to do is push the auto button and set the temp.

Worst was vale ting in the summer in the south. Some aholes would pull up, turn of the ac and walk inside. By the time you got to their car it was 150 degrees.

I used to do that when I was younger. I really enjoyed the heat. I used to run my friends out of the car with the heater in the winter. I guess you get less tolerant of heat as you get older. Also, when I worked construction I never ran the ac. Getting out of a nice cold truck and going straight to work in the blazing heat sucks. Better to stay hot and acclimated.
