One day, General Sherman was marching his columns through Georgia, raping innocent women and burning beautiful things, when he heard over a hill "One Rebel is as good as 10 yankees!" Quite perturbed at this interference with his raping and burning, General Sherman sent 10 men over the hill to deal with whatever upstart rebel happened to be afoot.

Sounds of combat raged, as several gunshots rang out and several screams. A few minutes of silence followed, and just when General Sherman had gotten his mind to destruction of his fellow man again, another call rang out. "One Rebel is as good as 100 Yankees!"

What rubbish, he thought as he sipped a warm cup of baby blood. He ordered a rather dull witted Lieutenant to take his company of 100 men over the hill and deal with the infernal Southerner who was distracting him from burning the nearby houses.

The LT took his men over the hill in a ferocious charge. Several minutes of screams and musket-fire went by, enough to drown out the desperate wailing of the dying children at his feet as he wiped off his saber. He then noticed a silence had fell on the area.

"One rebel is as good as 1000 yankees!" The shout pierced the early morning fog. The general had many more farms and villages of helpless people to slaughter, and this was delaying his early start. He summoned his best Colonel, and ordered him to take the hill with his regiment. A thousand blue coats marched in lock step up the hill to the crest, and back down the far side, drums and fife playing cheerfully. THe sound of a great battle thundered in the air. "Hoorah" and rebel yells pierced the heavy gunfire. THe sound of metal on metal lended a murderous harmony to the popcorn sound of the muskets.

After several hours, quiet settled on the hill. General Sherman began to grow impatient, and drummed his fingers on the ring of children's skulls he had draped around his horse's saddle. FInally, one bloodied and limping soldier came back over the hill, his blue coat dark with stains in several places. He clutched the General's human-skin saddle, staining the freckled skin with his bloody hands.

"Sir," he said hoarsely, "Don't send any more men. It's a trap."

"There's two of them."

I saw that exact story on Facebook, except it substituted Marines for rebs, and ISIS for yankees.

That story was way better.
