My dad will cook maybe once a month, never seen him clean unless it's his plate or the holidays and will never wash clothes unless moms on vacation or something.

I do most of the cooking because I'm much better at it and I enjoy doing it.

I help around the house with cleaning, but she does the majority of it. I also receive tangible appreciation for my efforts, even after being married 3 years with an infant. Likewise, she works and pulls down a good paycheck, and doesn't spend very much money.

She does most of the cleaning but I do my share.

I do almost all of the cooking, because I'm a pretty good cook and enjoy it.

If you want it to last treat her like you want to be treated.
If you do your part things will go smooth.

I think the married guys over on the other OT bitching about how they don't get sex or blowjobs at the drop of a hat probably have let themselves go to a degree and don't help out around the house at all.

We pretty much share household duties, but she works full time and makes more than I do. I have the opposite problem from PrivatePublic. When Mrs. T comes home to a clean house and dinner, her legs fly open like the doors of a saloon once the kids go to bed.

Hell no, I bring home the bacon, it's her job to fry it up in a pan, as well as clean said pan!

Maybe that's why I'm single

I used to, a lot, and then our sex life went to shite. One day, I decided to just cut back and see what would happen. Our sex life perked right back up.

I also tested this study. Our sex life wasn't shite, however. I slowed down doing housework and the sex picked up. Strange. I even discussed it with the Mrs and she didn't believe me.

I still do my fair share of the chores. I do the yard exclusively. My share of the laundry, vacuuming, etc.

I made a deal early in our marriage, if she cooks, I'll do the dishes. After 18 years, it's still the deal, but the kiddos now do the majority of the dishes.

I generally try to help out wherever I can. It's in my nature, even though I might get less nooky (not really).

I clean the gobs of hair she leaves in the shower drain and bathroom sink.

I turn off all the fans and appliances she leaves on when she leaves a room.

I search for and find the TV remote she invariably loses under piles of clothes and blankets.

I sort out and put into recycling bins all the bottles and cans she leaves lying around the house.

I throw away all the two-week old leftovers and moulding mystery dishes she leaves in the fridge.

I throw away the full garbage bags she leaves in our 110-degree garage, where they invite hordes of cockroaches to invade and dine.

With the patience of Job, I refrain from comment when she makes some snarky remark about what a slob I am.

Rarely....we have traditional roles; she takes care of this stuff (inside stuff) and I do all the outside stuff and fix stuff when it breaks.

I'm the Grill Master; she takes care of the other stuff.

No, but let me guess--after performing like a super porn star to give your wife an O, does she:
• Make you change the dirty sheets, put them in the wash, put fresh new ones on and put a new container of air freshener on the dresser--while she stumbles out to the couch to take a nap?

They must be related. Is your wife Philippine?

Can you purchase chaps with an arse or those just pants? Wouldn't all chaps be assless by their very nature?

I do pretty much all of it the majority of the time. My career gives me a LOT more free time than my wife (who is growing her own business right now and pretty much never stops working).

I can also do all of the house stuff much more efficiently than she does it.

I cook, clean some, do laundry and yardwork. Both cook about 50% of the time and can handle ourselves pretty well in the kitchen. We both work full time, so we split everything pretty much evenly. If she didn't work, then yeah, I'd expect her to do a little more, but I'd still probably cook dinner some nights and do laundry. Those are two things I don't mind. And usually, whoever doesn't cook, cleans up after.

I enjoy cooking. I'm the griller as well. I got a BGE last fall, so I've been using that a whole lot in the past year. I used to work from home, so I could use it more during the week than I can now since I had more time. I'm better when I know exactly what I want to cook, but some weeknights we both get home and need to get something cooked to eat for our 3 year old and she's amazing at just looking in the fridge and pantry and have something really good done in about 20-30 minutes.

Working from home was nice too, in that I could just throw a load or two in the wash during the day and we didn't have to worry about it after the work day was over. I could take little breaks and sweep the floors, put up dishes, etc all during the day so we could relax after getting home, cooking dinner, putting the kid down... It was nice to be able to just sit and do nothing after that if we wanted to.
