Do you guys help your wife with cleaning the house, doing laundry and wash dishes? Also do you ever cook for her to give her a break?

I help with some things. I will do the dishes, my own laundry, etc

I grill and she will take care of the rest usually, when it comes to cooking

Don't spoil the help.

Yes, though she does more of the household cleaning.

I do all of the cooking because she's a terrible cook. I usually clean the kitchen after I cook, but sometimes she does.

I will do a load of laundry occasionally. Will also load the dishwasher sometimes. Mostly, outside is my responsibility and inside is hers.

I do most of the cleaning, but my wife is a chef so she does all the cooking.

i don't cook. ever.

but i wash dishes, pick up, wipe counters, do laundry infinitely more than she does. if i never did another dish or put up laundry she would not catch up to me for 10+ years. i get on to the kids for not picking up more than she does. she does however clean toilets when i refuse to.

i wish i could say i do it to get laid more often, i just really don't like mess, not having clean underwear, or a bowl for cheetos.

studies have shown that men helping with housework does not lead to increased nookie sadly.

I used to, a lot, and then our sex life went to shite. One day, I decided to just cut back and see what would happen. Our sex life perked right back up.

I know that seems bizzare, but it turns out that she's just not attracted to the house husband type, which coincidentally enough, is the exact opposite of me when we first dated. I make up for it with lots if stuff she finds romantic. It took a while to adjust, but everybody's happier now.

Exactly.

And don't start doing anything that you didn't do before if you don't expect to keep doing it indefinitely.

I do some housework (laundry, vacuuming, medial stuff) and I'll cook if it's something easy. My big thing is yard work. I enjoy working on the yard (she does not).

You should cut him a break every now and then.

I keep the kitchen spotless, all garbage recepticles empty and cook 85% of what we eat. I don't touch laundry. Makes my teeth hurt to fold clothes.

You're lucky. Mine thinks I'm outside fricking partying and drinking beer when I do lawn work.

My wife is a stay at home mom and she takes care of most everything inside the house, bills, kids, etc.

I will help inside cleaning some, mostly just helping cleaning up in the kitchen. I don't do laundry. I do most of the yard work.

Why wouldn't I?

It takes a village and I also have to set an example for my child

I grill, but the wife cooks otherwise. I suck at it.

I do some cleaning, and I do my own laundry. I also do the yard work.

I wash dishes whenever I can, as a dirty sink/kitchen motivates her to not cook more.

I clean the gobs of hair she leaves in the shower drain and bathroom sink.

I turn off all the fans and appliances she leaves on when she leaves a room.

I search for and find the TV remote she invariably loses under piles of clothes and blankets.

I sort out and put into recycling bins all the bottles and cans she leaves lying around the house.

I throw away all the two-week old leftovers and moulding mystery dishes she leaves in the fridge.

I throw away the full garbage bags she leaves in our 110-degree garage, where they invite hordes of cockroaches to invade and dine.

With the patience of Job, I refrain from comment when she makes some snarky remark about what a slob I am.

Yeah, I do my share around our little patch of domestic paradise.

Some. Enough to avoid nagging and not enough to raise expectations. Cooking? Grilling.
