Beat it by a few months. And I am the only one allowed to whack it to her pics.

Been married to the same lady for almost 32 years. Best decision ever. Sometimes that seems like a long time, sometimes it seems like yesterday. However, over half my life has been spent with her, and damn well worth it.

15 years for me. However, I was married before to a woman who had an affair and left me for another man. Cleaned out my house and bank account too.

So, I've been on both sides.

Yeah, it was a rough stretch in my life. I got home on a Wednesday night from work, we had been married 4 years. I found a note on the front door "I'm tired of living for everyone else, I want to live for myself". Opened the door, boom. No furniture (except a few junk pieces I had when we got married). A couple of days later, I went to the bank, no money. It was pretty devastating. I went from 165 to 128 lbs in about 8 weeks time, I was so distraught. Couldn't hardly eat anything or think about anything else.

Jesus CHRIST.

Idk what I'd do in that situation. It'd damn near kill me, and I'm not being melodramatic in the least.

Props to you for getting through that.

So, I was one of those folks who took my vows seriously, so I tried for over a year to reconcile with her.

I did have a good lawyer, and on the day of our divorce he didn't tell me about the court date. He came to my home that night, handed me some papers and told me "You're divorced". "And she about died that you didn't bother to show up". Love that guy.

She's not a ginger anymore.

She just was in the last picture you saw of her due to the magic of hair coloring

I wouldn't wish that experience on my worst enemy, or even a Louisville fan. It as a dreadful year in my life, my dad died a couple of months after the separation. I honestly don't remember what I did most days. I spent a ton of hours at work, no reason to go home.

Man, that's some fricked up shite. Leaving is one thing, but she had to take money and all the furniture too? I'd say you or anyone is better off without that pos.
