Naw. I went to Catholic school from Kindergarten through high school. 99% of Catholics don't believe being gay or acting on it is a sin, regardless of what the church says.

I just can't take you seriously regarding politics if you believe this.

Gays imposing their beliefs on Christians screams tolerance for sure.

One side of Methodists and I think one of Episcopalian has accepted it as not sin. Maybe utilitarians as well.

Some of the more progressive groups have started to say they are not actively or politically going to go against the gay community. They still believe it to be sin but are not going to further alienate the group by making them victims and going after them like they are any different a group of sinners than the rest of the world.

With due respect, you can stay ignorant then.

Doesn't seem like I'm the one who's ignorant if you can't see that both sides of the political spectrum are guilty of sensationalism. But I'll digress. Continue on.

Your attitude of calling Phil a bigot tPOS when he didn't push a belief on anybody says otherwise.

At the end of the day and no matter how you spin it he still just answered a question. Just because you don't like the answer doesn't mean you get to interpret how you want and make it fact.

Very true. Fox News actually reports news, MSNBC fabricates stories to meet it's political agenda.
Fox News is considered the same because it expresses a conservative viewpoint, which is ridiculed in America today.

Christianity really is hated in America today. Would have never thought I would see it in my lifetime. Who would have thought having conservative family values would be met with such vile and contempt.

I'm not worried about it. A poll in Dec. of 2012 showed that 77% of Americans consider themselves Christian.

The current political climate is nothing but a trend started by our leadership and a willing media to control the narrative. If you look at history, a lot of populace will reflect the current makeup of the politics at the time, due to whoever is in power will control the narrative. It's a pendulum that swings back and forth.

Bush Administration used an American sense of nationalism and fear spawned from 9-11 to gain support to invade Iraq.

Obama Administration uses the leftist portion of the country to push their progressive agenda.

When the media will carry the water for whoever is in charge, it creates national trends until people finally wake up and realize they were duped, then they vote the other way and get duped in some other fashion.

No doubt Fox News leans right.

What MSBNC does is straight left propoganda.

If you can't see that, it's on you.

They're the exact same, bud.

I really don't get people who knight for one political party or the other. They really don't give two fricks about you or your beliefs. The only thing any of them give a frick about is money and being re-elected. You are just a pawn in their game.

Bingo. I have no problem with moderate Republicans or moderate Democrats.

It's the people that think one or the other is absolutely correct on every topic. Those people aren't capable of making their own decisions IMO

Link?

Because every Catholic friend I have despises homosexuality..way less tolerant than me. I don't agree with the act and I think it is sinful, but as a believer in freedom I think the Gov't has no right to tell them how to live their lives or decide what is recognized in marriage. I'm southern Baptist, btw
