Anytime someone starts off by blaming either "the left" or "the right", I dismiss their opinion because there's a 99% chance they are incapable of being unbiased.

The whole family is a bunch of frauds anyway. They were everyday, suburban white folks before the show. Do a google search on them and look at some of their family photos before the show. There's even one of them on the beach innovators and white shirts, the epitome of white.

Phil aing a Christian. He's a TPOS bigot.

Yes, because "the Left" is the only extremists that would ever do such a thing.

As far as the source quoted, it's the internet equivalent of MSNBC or Fox News so I think I'll have to pass.

What did he say about gay people that was bigoted? Besides quoting scripture about it being sinful, because that is the belief of every Christian, what was so bigoted in your opinion?

That he basically said as a man he can't understand how a man could find a man's anus more attractive than a vagina? I would think every single heterosexual male would wonder that exact thing..hell I can't for the life of me figure out how a man could be sexually attracted to another man. But I don't see where saying that isn't bigoted.

It would be bigoted if he had said he hated gay people or something along that line. To say you believe it is immoral and you don't understand it isn't bigoted at all.

Pretty much. He's playing redneck for profit and people are eating it up. It's the white man's version of the old minstrel show -- act like a hillbilly/redneck, reinforce those stereotypes, ham it up for a crowd that doesn't know the difference and make $$$$ while you exploit a group you have no right to claim you belong to.

Christianity really is hated in America today. Would have never thought I would see it in my lifetime. Who would have thought having conservative family values would be met with such vile and contempt.

Christians are the most inclusive people, but because they speak out in defense of what God says on social issues, they are attacked. Unreal.

Not all Christians believe that. Mostly only Baptists and Evangelicals.

They're exactly like each other. Both extremist networks catering to the far left/right.

Catholics too.

I think the Methodists are the only church that accepts it.

Christians are inclusive in the sense they accept people praying they'll change and join their church. That's called looking down on people and it's why most people don't like Christians.

Christianity isn't hated in America today. The "War on Christians" is about as fabricated as the "War on Women" at this point.

It's called if you're going to express an opinion in public (especially in a mass produced publication) then you're going to get some opposition. Christian or non-Christian. That's part of living in a diverse country with a range of beliefs.

To hear some of y'all tell it, we're living in the Middle East.
