My gdad is in the hospital and has basically lost his mind

Yea it just sucks as he's only 76 and it was all most likely brought on by him getting completely fricked over in a business deal by a well know business entity that has recently come under new leadership by a guy from New Jersey who apparently has no integrity whatsoever. Commited breach of contract by ceasing to make monthly payments he was required to make over a year and a half prior to the contracts expiration and it's a pretty well known situation so he's just been lying to the press about it Saying my gdad and his 2 partners are just greedy negotiators which is other bullshite as the guy refuses to even try to negotiate
Basically, all this stress led to my gdad having something similar to a nervous breakdown and he may have finally recently had a stroke which is why he's in the hospital
ETA: sorry for kind of ranting there, I'm not really one to talk about problems like this with friends or family bc it's not their problem and there's nothing they can do about it so this is really the first time I've elaborated on it

Yea we have but its 3 individuals who basically only income has come from these monthly payments that he has ceased are the ones that would have to fight in court against an entity with a monstrous resource advantage
As soon as we sued they counter sued with a total horseshite suit that doesn't stand a chance but they know our side will run out of money before they will so they are just gonna run out the clock
It's bullshite but sometimes that's just how our system pans out when it comes to things like this
