Probably something completely boring like put it towards the mortgage.

I guess I'm getting pretty old cause I thought this was a great idea... But everyone on here has posted about how boring it is... We are using ours to go toward the down payment on a house ... We just have to compromise on where exactly in the Metro area that's going to be.

That's where things get a little dicey

Me: Collierville, Germantown, Olive Branch

Her: Midtown, Evergreen, University

The age old argument that divides households... Do we stay in the city or get the eff out?

It's always better to stay in the city. You never want to be cookie cutter.

No offense, suburbanites.

I understand your dilemma. However, get ready for that nice private school tuition if you stay in the city.

So you're taking her side Catfan ?!

And I can't believe you said "cookie cutter"... She has used that term before too.

It's rare that I take the female side. I generally don't like wimmenz.

That's what we urbanites refer to suburbanites as. That's no limited to one city. It's pretty universal.

I know ... And the public schools are just gonna get worse and worse cause they continue to close down the ones with the worst test scores.

I live in a cookie cutter McMansion in the suburbs and pine for city living every day. Great school district, but life out there is so bland. Saturday mornings at the suburban Home Depot is one of the most depressing places on earth.

Wal-Mart off skyland at the first of the month.
I dare you to not get completely depressed after watching good people get caught with the dreggs of humanity.

That's why I haven't shopped at Walmarks in years, and refuse to do so.

It is so depressing in Dothan.

People drive in from miles around to a wal mart, fill up two buggies with store-brand processed foods and frozen junk food into their 15+ year old banger suv or truck with a deteriorating paint job and ruined interior and cross the street to the ABC to get their rotgut cheapo alcohol and then drive maniacally to get back home 'fore the wrastlin starts.

I'm not an elitist, but holy crap that made me rethink some things in life.

I'm using mine on a cyclone rake.. As boring as that sounds, I'm kind of excited.

I won't judge you. My husband would love that, and I was excited about getting a new dining room table not long ago.
