Mark Jackson is not the answer in LA. I think it will be someone like Doug Collins for a couple years still.

Dude we went through this in the other thread already.

We're not about to try to rebuild for three years. Doug Collins will not be the coach of the Lakers. LET. IT. GO.

Now, as far as Mark Jackson is concerned, he's a pretty damn good coach (I still don't know why those idiots at Golden State fired him) and LBJ is pretty infatuated with him according to several of the ESPN radio hosts.

Lebron could probably use Mark Jackson as a coach. Someone who will tell him he's being a pussy when he is and not ask which side of the face he (Lebron) wants to bust his nut on.

If he could get that in a coach, he would be the Goat no question.

Just imagine LBJ with a Phil or Pat Riley.

You'd easily fit in with the "knowledgeable fans of the MSB."

I don't think that LeBron is going to the Lakers, doesn't matter who your coach is.

And you would fit in with the "ask which side of the face he (Lebron) wants to bust his nut on" Group.

Looked at that mock draft.

Would not mind picking up Jarnell Stokes. He really impressed me at UT.

LeBron playing in the offenses of Doug Collins or Mark Jackson would be a basketball tragedy after what we've seen the last 3 years.

Agreed. I think Spo gets unfairly judged because his entire coaching career has been spent basically coaching the big 3. The offense they have built there to fit LeBron's style of play has been a thing of beauty when it get clicking. Same with their attacking style of defense.

I honestly thought that was one of their biggest issues in the Finals is that it seemed like they got away from what made their offense so potent. It turned into 1v5 too often.

It won't happen, but could you imagine LeBron going to Golden State to play alongside Steph and Klay Thompson

He was apparently really impressive at their workouts. I like the idea of Zbo taking him under his wing as his young protege for a few seasons

If one of the better wings are available at 22, I'd prefer them to pick one of them. They need to get more athletic and they need to add more shooting.

Yep. Spo is right there with Carlisle, Thibs, Doc, and SVG in my coaching tiers. What he did was revolutionary.

They just had no bullets in the chamber besides LeBron. The Spurs didn't bother with anyone besides him and Bosh. Pretty easy to slow down one guy with zone defense rules these days. That's the biggest weakness I think- the Heat, the ultimate team of fungible parts, became way too inflexible on the court.

Basketball pandemonium. Would love to see it.

LeBron in Washington with Beal and Wall would be fun. From a purely academic point, I would love to see him with Budenholzer. I have a serious crush on what he's done with the Hawks.

He's not leaving Miami. When you play in a market like that, and are the best player in the world, you don't leave, people come to you.

Them losing Mike Miller, having Shane Battier barely see the floor, and DWade just be a shell of his former self didn't help.

Then going out and adding Greg Oden and Beasley this offseason didn't help.

I really enjoyed how the Spurs decided to guard Miami this year. They did a ton of switching and then would help off the non-shooters (aka Dwade).

Especially since LeBron said he enjoys a PG who doesn't dominate the ball. Let LeBron handle the ball and Steph run off of screen after screen.

I kind of want to see KD go there...

If he doesn't want his reputation shite on some more it is either stay in Miami or go back to Cleveland. If he is cool with being hated even more then feel free to jump to a NY or LA.

I could go along with that he has been unfairly judged, but you're taking it a little to far. To put Spolstra in the same category with Doc Rivers is akin to spitting in the dude's face.

There's a certain NBA team that is just one small forward with a pulse away from dominating the league.

If that team had LeBron, they wouldn't lose a game.

And all those cholo douchebag starfrickers that wear LBJ Heat jerseys in every goddamn arena can get fricked.

I'm not in love with Doc Rivers as everyone else is. Doc won his championship due to a big 3, why is that knock against Spo?

I'm a big fan of Thibs, but he enjoys running his players into the ground a bit too much for my liking

I would honestly have Pop and Carlisle in a tier of their own. I think those are easily the two best in the league right now.

DWade not playing like DWade hurt them.

Bosh being relegated to pretty much a spot up three pointer was about as asinine of an offensive strategy as possible. Battier didn't see the floor because he can't contribute good minutes anymore.

Outside of the "Big 3", their roster isn't going to improve from this year to next unless they find a young player to sign for the minimum that becomes a known commodity overnight.

Don't forget that Doc wasn't considered a great coach till the big 3 came together in Boston.
