yes, you love citing NASA except when i point out there are NASA scientists that don't agree with ur dumb global warming theory. they don't count. lol

scientists used to think the earth was flat. so what.

Since you want to discuss science, tell me what you know about the greenhouse effect. Don't google. Post now.

you redalize CO2 is only is a small percentage of greenhouse gasses. most of it is water vapor.

You accused me of cherry picking and then went on to cherry pick 1 scientist in NASA

I generally take the majority over the minority, for obvious reasons

taking majority over minoirty isn't proof the majority is right though. you don't seem to be able to grasp this concept but you are a meathead. you are a member of a mob, not a thinker.

That's not what I asked nor what I implied. I asked you to elaborate on the greenhouse effect because you keep mentioning science.

are you saying nobody can disagree with the ASCE? Again, civil engineers largely make money via public funding of projects. follow the money.

i agree all roads, etc need maintenance. that doesn't mean the roads are all 'crumbling'. that is obvious hyperbole

How about this link from the department of transportation.

LINK

In my state (Alabama), 22.4% of the bridges are structurally deficient or functionally obsolete, 25% of the roads are in poor/mediocre condition, and $141 per motorist annual total extra vehicle repair due to poor roads.

That's 1 out of every 4 roads and bridges.

i don't think a redneck like you who conflates mechanical engineering with being a mechanic is an expert on science.

all you do is parrot dumb politicians like AL gore and Obama on global warming. you don't think for yourself, they tell you what to think and you dance for them.

ok, why is it so important to you for people to believe the earth is warming up?

so you think that if politicians raise taxes, that will stop global warming just in the nick of time and humanity will be saved? lol

the reason you are talking about it is Democrat politicians talk about it.

it is incredible that all we got to do to stop global warming is raise taxes, spend more, and put in place more regulations. tha tjust happens to be Democrat solution for everything. lol

I'm not even a democrat

You and I have been through this numerous times

I'm a former democrat that is now a registered independent. I didn't vote for Obama in his second term, and I didn't vote for Hillary.

Swing and miss

between the 1940s and 1970s, CO2 emissions increased dramatically, but temperatures went down. this goes against the opposite of global warming theory. Time and Newsweek both had alarmist headline stories about global cooling.

a long time ago, there was an Ice age. yet the the earth warmed up prior to the industrial age. i think is significant proof that temperature varies naturally and is not the result of industrialization.

A: Here's a simple definition of global warming. (And yes, it's really happening.) Over the past 50 years, the average global temperature has increased at the fastest rate in recorded history. And experts see the trend is accelerating: All but one of the 16 hottest years in NASA’s 134-year record have occurred since 2000.
