Wise move. I used to live ITP. It wasn't great.

the other wild card option is North Carolina. My buddy is pushing to move up there and the real estate prices I have seen are insanely low.

I've lived in the Midtown area since we moved to ATL. I love it and very rarely see a hooker... except for over on Juniper at night.

I could never ever live OTP.

Nope. I've been all over the state of Pennsylvania. It's ok but certainly not the best state in the nation.

No, it's the best. If not PA, then what?

Well apparently prostitution is a significant problem in Midtown. That's why APD established the no cruising zones.

What are the pros of living ITP? Atlanta is a place I've considered.

I'll answer this for Catfan

Reason 1: not being a redneck
Reason 2: not being a Southerner

You're close to things and not surrounded by the racist rednecks OTP.

The cons are that you're surrounded by people, there's more crime and shite is expensive.

Just like any city really.

Yeah, it's the tranny hookers on Juniper at night. They travel in hordes.

Virginia is actually very similar to PA... some really great areas, and some really hillbilly areas too. It depends if you like the coast more than big cities. VA has the former, PA has the latter. Both are beautiful and great places, imo.

Close to anything you need. A lot of good restaurants and bars. Diverse neighborhoods. Building boom going on that's bringing in even more middle to upper middle class well educated young people.

Not to mention that Virginia is a very wealthy state with a very good educational system.

Pennsylvania is the most American state and I love America, while you don't. So that could explain it.
