My nephew was in a car accident a few days ago. He is in stable condition as of now but has several spinal injuries. The doctors had to put pins in his neck and immobilize him.

No one knows how the accident happened. He just want off the road in Tyler, Tx. and hit a culvert getting airborne and landing about 150 feet away. The speed limit in the area is 75, so yes, he was hauling a$$.

If you could put him in your thought and prayers, or help in any way, here is a link.

This was the accident.

Thank you.

Please don't try to donate now as this was 4 years ago. Please see my reply further down. He is doing great all things considered. As I said in my reply, I just wanted to update and say thank you to those that prayed/donated.

I wanted to say thank you to the few responses and to those that might have donated. He has a long road ahead of him and we are doing all we can to make it easier for him.

Thank you a lot. I was told about an hour ago he can feel his toes. That's all he can feel from his chest down. Might get the breathing tubes out tomorrow. His lungs were so badly bruised they could not function properly.

Thank you again.

Prayers and love for your nephew and for you and all of your family. Unfortunately, I'm too strapped to help right now (too many things I've got to pay for - helping out a widow right now) but I'd give y'all 100k if I could and I hope those who do have some cash available to spare help out.

I know this was posted years ago but I also know some people helped and I wanted to say thank you. After about a year in the hospital and several surgeries due to the accident my nephew is doing ok. He’s now in a wheelchair. He only has the use of his arms. He can not grasp with his hands nor walk. He is still alive though and we thank the Lord for that.

Due to being handicapped he got a full ride to SFA as well as his girlfriend (who has been by his side every step of the way) for being his caregiver.

I have pics of what was left of his car but I’m unsure of how to post them on here.

Again. Thank you to anyone who donated or just prayed for him.

I'm getting this weird image of his wrists being tied to the spokes of his wheelchair. You're going to have to elaborate.

He has a motorized wheelchair with a joystick in order to control it.
