Who is a democracy?

First and foremost we don't put term limits on congress. We also allow for corporations to sponsor politicians therefore making citizen voters useless. The need for this sort of campaign blocks entrance points into politics therefore making you have to pretty much be Republican or Democrat to run for Congress. Therefore allowing the 2 parties to divide and conquer your thought process while working together for their corporate interests.

Yes. Haven't finished it yet but they've started hiring for some positions.

We don't know that exactly since we are a Republic. I mean why have each persons vote really count when others can decide for you instead.

$1.6 billion in deferred taxes doesn't sound like no taxes to me.

Would be nice if I could defer tax payments indefinitely while receiving an 82 million dollar tax refund.

It's really no problem. All you have to do is design, build, and test many billion dollars worth of aircraft. It might help if you employ 169K+ workers, just to be safe.

Nah, it's folks like yourself that are so deeply entrenched in outdated political branding that allow this fascistesque tax code to remain viable.

If you were capable of looking at something with clear eyes you'd see what is happening, but you're not, just as most of America is not, the branding runs so deep that you're more interested in defending your side than looking at something with no ideological attachment.

If you had stated up front their deferred tax burden (which you almost surely knew), you could have avoided someone else telling you something you already knew. And the effect of the post would've been largely the same.

There's more to that than meets they eye, but Fri night, and plans, and such.

It's the shame of our time that people defend things like this in the name of their ideology.

In this case it's the conservative argument that business needs to do what it wants so that jobs can be created, end of story.

It's anti conservative to say something against business, but in this case it's an atrocity. Boeing draws its lifeblood from taxpayer-funded projects while receiving welfare and paying no income tax.

The tax code is very broken. Large corporations and the government have worked in unison to create a code that is highly beneficial to them while hurting regular Americans.

But most can't see it, most are too caught up in the psuedo socialism vs crony capitalism fight to see the fascist truth.

You might have a point, if...

and paying no income tax.

... was true, but it isn't. You just went off half-cocked against The Man.

It's "pseudo", by the way. Get your own name right, at least.
