Ok, sorry Catfan, you have been making your trolling more obvious lately... at least you didn't tell me to suck your balls.

Not knocking your lifestyle choices, but there are more people in the world than those who live in downtown Atlanta.

My sister drives a Kia and it is apiece of shite. Electrical problems galore. Especially with things that wear out quickly like door triggers, power window switches, ac knobs. It's a Kia Sorento. She has taken it in numerous times for service. They had to remove the entire dash board because the passenger side airbag light wouldn't go off. It has some kind of switch that senses when someone sits in the front passenger seat and naturally they hid it behind 7 layers of shite under dashboard. If she wants something the size of an Optima she would do much better going the Corolla, Civic, Altima route.

We bought our daughter a new KIA back in 2008 on her 16th birthday. Not a big deal, just a Rio, but that car has been a great car. No problems. very safe. No issues at all. I'd buy another KIA any time. We've owned several toyotas and I consider KIA quality right up there with them.

First, Kia and Hyundia are basically the same company. Compare their comparable models.....Sonata vs Optima, etc. They're identical except for the sheet metal.

The only problem with Kia is that they used to make absolute shite cars and had a horrible reputation because of it. Now they're making good cars and their reputation hasn't quite caught up with their quality.

That being said, don't lay down cash until you drive the Mazda 6 and/or Mazda 3. VERY nice cars for the money.

How much are you looking to spend? Got my wife a new car a few months back and she loves it. Very nice car, bigger than you think and very affordable.

They are the same company. Hyundai owns both of them. In fact, both the Hyundai and Kia SUVs are built in their west Georgia plant.

In the case of Hyundai, they do not hide from their shifty past. A few years ago I took a tour of their Montgomery plant. It started with a company history video that opened with "Hyundai introduced its first car to America in 198?. It was called the Excel and it was pure junk." And the in goes into how they have improved.

They build really good vehicles now. We had an Elantra for years and loved it. We only got rid of it because we needed a bigger vehicle. They have also got a great warranty.

Some of you are so easy to troll. My SO drove a truck when we got together and he's the polar opposite of a redneck.

As some one who's owned multiple LR and RRs..... Let me be the first to laugh at your Disco Ford Explorer. That may be the ugliest thing to come out of a Rover factory and I'm including the Evoque.

Also, the Disco's were the notorious ones to have issues. Hope yours wasn't built on a Friday.

I traded my LR4 in July for a BMW and I don't really miss it.

German or GTFO at this point.
