Actually, I haven't liked the term "bossy" used to describe little girls since I had my daughters. Michelle Obama had noting to do with it.

I don't know about other people, but I've never associated the word bossy strictly with females. When did it become a single-sex adjective?

Ok, I'll stop describing women as "bossy". But I'm gonna use "bitchy" and "county" more often.

Don't like it? Fix me a steak, suck my dick, and we'll talk about it.

I'll bet that you're a hit with the ladies.

I've honestly rarely heard the term "bossy" in that context used in a real life conversation by anyone, and when I have it was describing a complete bitch.

The 16-25 female crowd eats that shite up. They talk about independence and sensitive men and shite, but most of them just want a guy and inevitably end up dating a complete alpha and bending over backwards for him.

Not to say it isn't, but I don't usually hear it associated with boys.

Like I said before, I'm not going to get my panties in a wad if one of mine is ever described as such, and a campaign about it is over the top.

You don't have kids yet, so I wouldn't expect you to. Picture the 4 year old girl directing the tea party she's having with her friends. She's the bossy one.

Yes

Bitches be triflin', but in truth they have a vey poor strategy. If they all harnessed the collective power of that thing between their legs they'd rule the world. Instead, they fight amongst themselves for creatures who pass the time with fart contests.

It makes no logical sense.

I have a 4 year old -- just because someone doesn't have a kid doesn't mean that it's not a reasonable response. If she starts dictating what other people do I stop her, and I'd stop my son too.

Being a leader isn't just about telling people what to do, and tone is a big deal in boardrooms and classrooms alike.

My daughter is bossy, and I call her that when she's going over the top.

I guess it just takes a lot of annoy me. Groups that lobby against them, like those Nazi bitches One Million Moms, annoy me far more than any gay or weed activists could.

I have every intention of directing my future daughter down the stripper path. Great money in it if you're good at it. Schoolin' is more men folk.

To each their own. I choose not to use derogatory terms to correct unwanted behavior.

ETA: I have one child who is painfully shy and is perfectly comfortable to not be in charge. However my youngest is the type of kid others gravitate towards. She's the leader of her daycare class. I'm not going to try and make her a follower, and she's taught to be respectful of the other kids.
