Impeccable logic. The only thing I hate worse than Yankees south of the mason Dixon is foreigners. Take your unwelcomed arse back to Russia or Kazakhstan or whatever other fricked up Easter bloc county putin plans on invading next.

I was born in America. Swing and a miss there, dudefricker.

Relax, T. That was my evil twin. I don't really feel that way. My ex is a Yankee and I have plenty foreign friends.

It is an objective fact that evolution happens. It is not an objective fact that Jesus existed. Hope that helps.
Finally.
I have a long history of fightin' the Jesus Myth.

Yes, a long and unsuccessful one I'm sure. Because any real biblical scholar or historian will admit that due to the complete lack of contemporary writings about Jesus, there is a possibility he did not exist. But go ahead if you must

This guy gets me.
And this is the part I always hammer on because everyone says it's a fact, but I'm unaccustomed to having such loosely based articles (historians are hardly axiomatic) described as 100%.
"He may have existed"
vs.
"He did exist".

Read all over Facebook that he has risen. So that's good news.

Ahhh... I'm picking up what you're putting down now. I thought you meant you were fighting the fight to prove Jesus' existence as objective fact. Yeah, I'm right there with you. I personally believe he was invented, but then I get crazy stares and people telling me the bible is an historically accurate document- then I lament for all humanity.

You can confine your lamenting to your own condition. I'm sure you're plenty dumb enough without dragging the rest of humanity into it.

I don't think "dumb" means what you think it means.

I'm just glad SDAR found a friend. He's been lonely on this one

One of these is not like the other The over-proselytizing ones can get annoying, but that's about it. The militant Atheists are an actual problem in society.
You will (and have) get more down votes than up, but you're right. (About atheists being a problem to society)

As a nonbeliever, I find people who attempt to argue Jesus didnt exist at all are just trying too hard. You cant claim to be rational and then deny something that 98% of scholars and historians, including non-christians, agree on.
The story of Jesus is just too expansive and elaborate to be a pure fabrication of 1st century jews.
