What exactly was that map supposed to show? Federal dollars? Percentages? I am not sure its accurate as State A can get 50 M and State B can get 55 M but due to population and etc State A is more dependant. If that makes since.

Obviously the second one couldn't really be broken down per capita.

It's misleading map because many of those states don't have a high number on welfare but federal spending on things like military bases can skew the results

Also the red states aren't hypocritical on welfare, the reason we make it an issue is because we see the abuse of it so much, from food stamps, to disability, farm subsidies, etc. the ones who take these handouts do not vote conservative for the most part
