Any suggestions? I really don't care at this point,I just want a historically good team that I won't be accused of bandwagoning.

To sum up, I picked Dallas. Lots of great info in that thread if you feel like sifting through it.

Atlanta Flames. Or the Atlanta Thrashers. Both were historically good. emphasis on history.

Blues, great fanbase and support for a team who has yet to win it.

If he just wants a historically good team, the Montreal Canadiens are the only answer. No other franchise is even close in championships or total wins.

Plus, no one will accuse him of jumping on a bandwagon, because they haven't won a cup in two decades.

Penguins- we're good most of the time, but not the Red Wings

Just please don't cheer for a Canadian team, or any city that is just weird to think they have a hockey team or hasn't been around very long

Choices if I were choosing:
Pittsburgh Penguins
Philadelphia Flyers
New York Rangers
Washington Capitals
Boston Bruins
Detroit Red Wings
Chicago Blackhawks
St. Louis Blues
Buffalo Sabres
New Jersey Devils

Come on over and join us Avalanche fans. Part Canadian/part American with two Cups in the past 20 years. Enough to say you were relevant and can compete for the title but not enough to be accused of being a bandwagon fan like if you jumped on the Red Wings ship.

Go Aves. A few pick ups away from deep playoff runs. Passionate fan base. Fun city. Couple of cups.

Young team, fun guys, and should be good for years to come
