Which fruits do you enjoy the most? A couple of my favorites are blackberries and nectarines. Yesterday at the market however I was going to by some kiwi but I noticed yellow kiwi. Decided to try it and I am glad I did. It was fantastic and much better than green kiwi imo.

I hate watermelon. I don't understand the love for it. I kind of like pluots too.

Watermelon is good if you cut it in half and sprinkle salt on it and squeeze some lemon or lime on it and eat with a spoon.

It's also good in a blender, like a ninja, as watermelon water with added lime or lemon.

Mango salsa with jalepenos and onions is the shite.

Nothing beats an orange.

Skip the dipping in sugar, Sarge.

Especially with the running and working hard for your gains.

You're getting the good sugar with the fruit.

It's not just about calories.

Oh great, you're back.

Spacing sentences and telling people how to live.

Maybe you should eat a little sugar now and then, live a little

I love frozen or dried fruit.

I take blueberries, bananas and whole strawberries and I wash and freeze them myself to use in a daily breakfast smoothie via a Vitamix. You can buy those things pre-frozen, but they often add sugar or something else which ruins part of the benefit.

I love dried pears and apples out of my Excalibur dehydrator. Dried pineapple and mango can also be tasty. Great for car trips.

Honestly though fruit gets too much credit. Often its just sugar in a new form. Too many people pat themselves on the back for eating fruit, when really it is the vegetables that make you healthy.

For example in my morning smoothie all that fruit is there for taste. The real benefit of the smoothie is the kale and seeds I add.

We need to focus more on greens, not fruit. Its a sad reflection of modern society when people think they are 100% being healthy eating fruit just became its better than the doritos they would otherwise eat.

I get what you are saying but it's healthy to eat fruit instead of the chips or the snickers bar that my kids would certainly choose. I just dropped 30 bucks on fruit for my children to snack on and I am limiting them to when unhealthy snack per week. I know I need to do more but it's a start.

Damnit to hell!!! For those of you who had kids that tortured you by watching Barney, you will understand this.

As soon as I read your answer, I had a flashback to that purple pain in the arse leading his group of hooligans in singing, "I like to eat, eat, eat..apples and bananas. I like to oat, oat, oat..opples and banonos...I like to ite, ite, ite..ipples and baninis..I like to ute, ute, ute...upples and banunus..."

Dragon Fruit:
- Cool name
- Cool look
- Meh taste

Such a disappointment, but you see them everywhere in SE Asia.

Now, the mangoes you get there... Can't describe the difference between them and what you get here. Think Dairy Queen vs. ColdStone.

That was nothing. Wait until we have a thread about tarps. Or Phil Collins.

Lychee Fruit. Had a ton when I was in Hawaii earlier this year. Delicious but a bit of a pain in the arse to eat... almost like having to eat grapes with a mini peach pit in the middle, but you have to peel off a semi hard shell first... lot of work, not enough reward IMO.
