Learning to play guitar

I learned the basics of playing guitar in high school with my crappy band we tried to form but looking for a book, or website to learn how to play, scales, beyond the basics, etc. any recs? It's been about 10 years since I played.

Look up Marty Swartz on YouTube. I have been playing for twenty years and I still learn new tricks from him.

Ya YouTube is the best route.. And get instruction and see tabs at same time.. Marty is a good one but there are better..

I am just biased towards Marty Swartz because his teaching style works well for me.

Oh don't get me wrong I've learned more from him then all the others.. Tons of good ones tho
