Anyone who says Reagan is just delusional or ignorant.

Honestly, it's likely been before Lincoln.

I would say Jefferson since he wrote the decleration and every president in some form has abused it.

I cant remember what Adams it was that refused to leave or didn't believe the vote.

But if you were not considered a person or only 2/3rds of a person it really doesnt apply to you. That is how I think they viewed it.

"The Three-Fifths Compromise was a compromise reached between delegates from southern states and those from northern states during the 1787 United States Constitutional Convention. The debate was over if, and if so, how, slaves would be counted when determining a state's total population for constitutional purposes."

"Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons."

My case is rested.

But you are asking if they are A whole person. Not a part person. And a partial person would not get equal rights since he is not a full person. Again my interpretation of how it is.

I mean they believed Mark of Cain justified Slavery. So that since he defied God and was punished he could not be a whole person (POSSIBLY?)

I am trying to justify something that cant be justified I know.

I would probably say Andrew Jackson and prior to him James Madison (he did write the thing after all) or Monroe. You could maybe go as far as Buchanan.

Lincoln took such an epic dump on the Constitution that he made ignoring it ok. FDR made it in to an absolute art form. Both men were essentially dictators if you really look at the power they wielded and how much complete disregard they had for the document itself. Kennedy certainly didn't follow it and was responsible for allowing the Federal Workforce to Unionize which is a disaster we may never recover from. Johnson took it to a whole new level along with Nixon and the massive expansion of the various federal bureaucracies during their tenure, they basically made it so the idea of Fed officials who weren't elected and were barely accountable could come up with whatever regulation they wanted to with very little control from Congress, much less the people or states.

The Constitution has been a cool piece of paper under glass that has little real meaning or power for a long time now. Most people are simply too naive to realize it or they are in denial.

Reagan is the right answer. He loved this country.

You are just jealous you didn't have any skin in the game on all of those enormous military contracts that were being used by the industrial military machine. Don't be mad because you were not smart enough to sell it to a bunch of idiot americans that didn't realize the USSR who was already corroding from within was really strong enough that we had to give away all of our children's future capital as depth to pay for their destruction. Just be a proud American, keep your mouth shut about it, and say thank your for your service.

What about Obama. He has that hope and change thing going for him, gives a hell of a speech, and plus Washington has never seen so much transparency since FDR.
