Exactly. Beyonce is "ok" talented but very marketable so that equals lots of sales. Does not mean she is the best artist

Music in America has lost it's artistic touch. I hate it too...used to be you had artists with actually singing talent, a band with actual instrument playing talent, and lyrics that meant something. There was always a story to be told in a song, or an underlying political or social meaning. Now it's just repetitive bullshite where every song has the same theme with the lyrics and the artist is auto tuned to sound better, and most of the music is electronically done. It's so fake it's disgusting. I really feel like this country is losing it's culture and individualism, and it's sad.

Music just isn't authentic anymore. I like authenticity, individualism and art. Not a "good looking person with a marketable personality".
