I only agree with abortion in certain circumstances ie: rape, incest etc. I can see other instances where it might be a better choice but that's another conversation.

you know, i hear that, and understand it, but how often is that the case that a rape results in pregnancy? Very very very very very very rarely. Like i would wager not even a 1/100 of a percent.

i'm not lending any credence to the idiot, but Todd Akin's comments in the 2008 or so election were lost on deaf ears. There's not a lot of rapees getting pregnant.

Would it be any different if the brain wasn't being harvested? Would that suddenly make it different?

No. Therefore, is abortion murder?

So you would have a woman die if carrying a child were a grave danger to her health, for the sake of something that isn't even a breathing creature yet?

Early abortion? No. Late term when the fetus is viable? Yes.

I'm sure it's rare, but it's still a very real scenario for some women. They should not be forced to give up their lives for a fetus. Ever.

no argument with that and i agree with you.

but this is a stupid question asked by pro-choice people on a regular basis attempting to be a catch-all. it's a one in a million scenario that people want to falsely label somebody's entire belief system because of.

99.99999999999% of abortions are people that effed up and want to get out of the consequences of their mistakes and bad decisions. not the scenario you're trying to throw out as a gotcha.

Where do you draw the line? How do you accurately determine early versus late?

If you can hear the baby's heart beat and see it moving on the screen during an early ultrasound, is that baby alive? And if so, does aborting the baby equal murder?

I agree. But outside of that situation and a few others like rape, I think a child deserves every chance at life. And a woman not wanting to have to drop out of college or get a second job to support themselves and the baby isn't a legit reason for them to be able to get one IMO

And the fricked up thing is men have no say in the matter. If they want this kind of situation to be TRULY equal, then if a woman keeps a baby that a man doesn't want, he should have every right to not have to pay child support when he signs over his parental rights.

I just don't understand why women can't carry the baby to term and give it up for adoption. Please understand that pregnancy by rape is extremely rare and shouldn't even be debated.

Because of the very rare risk of them dying in child birth. That's literally it.
