That would be cool. I've always been terrible at picking out constellations

I hope this IT degree I'm working on is worth something

If you don't mind working in Kansas City, look up DST Systems. They are ALWAYS looking for developers, and they pay pretty good. I worked for one of their child companies for 6 years, and they're good to their developers.

Quite honestly, I would probably pick the same major. When picking my major, I didn't really consider the money aspect. How many kids do?

Except for the ones that try to hack it in chem e. because they think it'll make them rich.

I got my degree in German. Wanted to continue and double major in business, but i ran out of loan money. I love languages and am quick to pick them up, but a big part of me regrets majoring in language.
If i could do it all over again, i would have done something with more income potential. But oh well... i'm a project manager now. I just have a lot of student debt that was a bad investment.

sounds like me... Mine are in Econ and French. I wanted to go to law school as well, but then somehow got talked into joining an IT team from a friend, and found out moving data around is fun and they pay you well for it. 10 years later, still moving data around. Might still go to law school one day, tho.

Nothing is impractical if you got what you wanted out of it.

I have a degree in psych. Had no intentions of grad school just turned a few fun electives into a major. Now I work in insurance and nobody cares what your degree is. Job market was still iffy when I graduated in '10 but 6 months later and a 100+ apps done I found my niche
