Nah that's not bad, my dad owes my mom like 17,000 in child support (she waived it, however) and he sends me money all the time even when I don't need it.

Credit cards, however, are horrible. I think that's an adult thing, though, that I will never have. I thin the only thing I've ever done similar is take out a loan to buy a plane ticket.

Good in-laws

I'm jelly

Don't be. I have amazing in laws but you have amazing parents.

My dad was amazing but my mother was a whore. I joined the Army to get away from her and worked my way out of the shite that she created.

You were gifted with amazing parents, in general. No reason to be jelly. In laws are a small part of the struggle.

I'm thankful for 'em. No telling how screwed up I'd be if my mom weren't a saint and my dad weren't a good dude I could look up to. Many many props to you for working your way out of a bad situation--I honestly don't know if I'd have had the fortitude to do the same.

Got to surprise my mom by visiting this past weekend. Very good times. And my dad emails me all the time while I'm at work so it's cool to be able to bounce stuff off of him.

I hate serious topics though, so I'll show you pics of our master bedroom... I finished it last week. May add an accent wall. We'll see...

Closed in May. It's temporary though. The definition of a starter home.

Imma pay painters when the time comes, though. I am so not a handyman

Think Imma bow out, y'all. Have a good one

A little too late. We're doing the painting on our own.

Ours is over 1800 SqFt of needed paint.

We're building an awesome fire pit in the next week or so though.

Also gonna white wash our ginormous fireplace. It takes up an entire wall.

It turned out fine, just a hassle. Stone is a bitch to paint.

Night.

Also, we've got palm trees in the backyard. It had around $25k worth of landscaping done.

Fun... We only had to paint two of the guest bedrooms. They were pink and purple.

Yeah, I've seen. Paint sprayer FTW.

I have some pics of our fireplace and shite that I might upload tomorrow, but they're not appealing. Can't wait to paint them.

SO's parents live in a country club community and they have the palms. I don't care for the look, unless it's near the beach. It just annoys me.

I wouldn't put them in, but they'll look hilarious with snow. There's also a cactus or something that no one can identify. I'll upload a picture of it at some point. It's the coolest shrub I've ever seen.

We're pretty much done with decorating and renovating. I've just got to put a motor on the gate. It's a bitch in the rain. I can push it open with the jeep but it would murder my car.

We're not even close to finishing. I'm painting the kitchen cabinets light gray... and the wood paneling, that I haven't shown, in the formal living and dining rooms. It's real wood, not the trashy wood paneling, so I don't want to completely compromise it.

This is what I want to accomplish...
